At first glance, snowstorm appears as a rewind from the shallows of Russian literature. It is a condensate or intertext of the Russian snowstorm tradition. Her story with rural doctor and coachman, tally miller, dwarf horses and giants takes place in an imaginary future that feeds on the Russian past and basically means our present. Does the story require a parable reading?
